SISTO was born from a simple belief: that what we wear should allow us to be entirely ourselves, rather than ask us to become someone else, or to choose.
For the woman who wants a great deal from life. Who is ambitious and sensitive, curious and considered, spirited and reflective. Who finds pleasure in beautiful things, but has little interest in saving them for the right occasion.
We create pieces to reach for instinctively. Clothes that feel familiar, almost like home. Pieces that offer comfort and confidence without demanding attention, and that move naturally through the different moments of a woman's life.
Because we believe getting dressed should be the easy part.
Our Perspective
We believe personal style is something accumulated, not acquired overnight.
It is shaped by the places we go, the people we meet, the books we read, the things we notice and the experiences that change us.
We are less interested in prescribing what a woman should look like than in creating pieces that become part of her own story.
Clothes to wear often, to live in fully, and to return to without a second thought.
A note from the Founder.
I have always felt that women are too often asked to choose between different parts of themselves.
Between ambition and wellbeing. Intellect and emotion. Elegance and ease.
Yet I've never believed these things should be mutually exclusive.
My own life has always moved between these contradictions: wanting to experience everything, while needing moments of stillness; being deeply emotional, yet endlessly ambitious; loving beautiful clothes, but wanting to feel completely at ease in them.
SISTO grew from a desire to create the pieces I found myself reaching for again and again. The ones that made me feel good, that required little thought, and that allowed me to get on with living.
Not clothes for a particular occasion, but for everything that happens in between.
Heritage
With roots in France, Italy and England, SISTO draws from three cultures that have shaped the way I understand style and living: elegance, expression and practicality.
Together, they inform an approach to design that values beauty without rigidity, character without excess, and function without compromise.
Our Way of Making
We believe thoughtful design should be matched by thoughtful making.
Our collections are produced in India with experienced manufacturing partners whose expertise spans more than three decades in luxury garment production.
We value enduring construction, considered materials and the people whose skills bring each piece to life. Our partners also support initiatives that provide women with opportunities to develop skills and greater economic independence.
We know responsible production is an ongoing process, and we remain committed to questioning, learning and improving the choices we make.
